| These are the Rules. Please follow them, the're not unreasonable. These rules are not listed in terms of importance as each and every rule is equally important. Table of Contents: 1.0 Treat people the way you want to be treated. 1.1 No Flaming 1.2 No Trolling 1.3 Always read the first post. 2.0 No SPAMing 2.1 Stay on topic 2.2 No topic High-Jacking 2.3 Use proper English 2.4 Three Word Minimum 3.0 Advertising 3.1 The PM system 4.0 Posting content 4.1 No double posting 4.2 Quoting 4.3 Images 4.4 No Pirated Material 5.0 Staff has final word 5.1 Applying to be staff 5.2 Mini-Moding 6.0 Stealing 6.1 Ripping 6.2 Writings 7.0 Hacking 7.1 Hacking where Pokémon is concerned. 8.0 Accounts 8.1 Admins 8.2 Attempting to bypass a Ban 8.3 As a joke 8.4 Impersonating Staff 8.5 Usernames 1.0 Treat people the way you want to be treated: You will conduct yourself in a polite, respectful and civilised manner at all times while within the sites boundaries! 1.1 No Flaming: Flaming is when a person says something with the intent of hurting someone else. 1.2 No Trolling: Trolling is when someone says something with the intent of getting a rise out of the other members and starting an argument (Flame War). 1.3 Always read the first post: This is where the topic starter will outline the rules of the thread. Failure to comply with these rules will be considered Trolling. 2.0 No SPAMing: SPAM stands for; Stupid Pointless Annoying Message. If you don't have something constructive to add to the conversation, don't post. 2.1 Stay on topic: Getting off topic is annoying and is considered SPAMing. 2.2 No topic High-Jacking: If you wish to discuss a different subject, start your own topic. 2.3 Use proper English: Don't make posts in other languages and don't make posts in TXT speak. 2.4 Three Word Minimum: Any post containing less than three (3) words will be considered SPAM. You must manually type out three words. Things that do not count towards the three word minimum include but are not limited to; Quoting other posts, Typing numbers (ex. "5" will need to be typed out as "Five" to count), Abbreviations (ex. LOL will need to fully typed out to count) and posting Emoticons. 3.0 Advertising: You may only advertise if you do so without malicious intent! You may place an image/text link of reasonable proportions to a site in your signature as long as the image and the site do not contain Illegal/Pirated material and are suitable for a PG-13 audience. You may not advertise in posts except in the Ad Factory forum. Do not advertise in/as your username when registering an account (see rule 8.5). 3.1 The PM system: If you have another site and wish to tell a friend, you may. However abuse will not be tolerated, if someone is SPAM Advertising a site to you through the PM system, report them. Don't try to handle the situation yourself. Forward a copy of the message to a Staff Member. 4.0 Posting Content: No Posting Lewd or Offensive material: This includes but is not limited to: No Cursing or otherwise offensive language, No Nudity, No topics that other members may take exception to and No Prejudice of any kind (Racism, Sexism etc.). 4.1 No Double Posting: Please do not post consecutively to yourself. If you made a mistake and wish to correct it, use the edit button. However, you may *bump* a topic if you have something important to add. 4.2 Quoting: Do not quote the person directly above you as it is assumed that you are responding to them and please do not quote images. It needlessy lengthens the page and can slow down the pages load time. If you wish to quote a message with an image in it, edit out the image before you submit your post. 4.5 No Pirated Material: No File Sharing, No Pirated Music, Video Games or Movies! (no warnings, immediate Ban) 5.0 Staff has final word: An argument ends when a Staff member gets involved, do not continue a Flame War after a staff member tells you to stop and especially don't flame the staff. Don't argue with the staff at any time, but especially after they've made their decision on how to resolve the matter. If you don't like the way a staff member has handled a situation, take it up with an Admin. 5.1 Applying to be staff: We encourage participation and welcome all applications. However if you've been turned down for a staff position don't beg to be staff. 5.2 No Mini-Moding: If you're not a staff member then you have no business attempting to enforce the rules. If someone is breaking the rules, report them. Don't attempt to handle the situation yourself. 6.0 Stealing: Stealing any Copyrighted material from Wii Experience and taking it to other sites or stealing Copyrighted material from other sites and bringing here will get you Banned without warning. 6.1 No Ripping: No Ripping any Graphics or Codes and claiming them as your own. (Immediate Ban) 6.2 Writings: You may not post any writing here claiming that you're the author if you're not. Also you may not post any writing here without the author's informed and expressed consent. 7.0 No Hacking: No Hacking of any game besides Pokémon! 7.1 Hacking where Pokémon is concerned: The fowling hacks are against the rules; Generating the Pokémon itself, Hacking the EV's, IV's, LV, EXP, Moves or Color! Pokémon Hacks that are acceptable: Parents (for breading) Any and all items (rare candies, vitamins, hold items ect.), Fast Egg hatch, and any cloning of Pokémon you raised yourself legitimately or have distribution rights to! 8.0 Accounts: You are allowed one account! You may not register more than one account for any reason. 8.1 Admins: Admins may have more than one account for the purpose of testing features and permissions and are not required to tell anyone which accounts are theirs. You are not allowed to try and guess it if they don't want you to know. If you do know, then you aren't allowed to post or share it without the Admins informed and expressed consent. 8.2 No Attempting to bypass a ban: You may not register an account to bypass a ban and return to the site, not even to argue your case. 8.3 As a joke: Do not register more than one account as a joke or to represent the illusion that you are someone else or that you are more than one person. 8.4 Impersonating Staff: Making any attempt to impersonate a Staff member will result in an immediate Ban. The only reason to do something like this would be for malicious intent. 8.5 Usernames: Absolutely no inappropriate content in/as your username. Usernames may not contain inappropriate language such as prejudice, sexual content, profanity, advertisements or anything blatantly obnoxious. Warnings: (The Three Strike Rule): Strikes: First: Warning! Second: 30 minute suspension of posting privileges! Third: Banned Bans First: 1 hour Second: 1 day Third: Forever These rules are subject to change without warning! You agree to adhere to these rules by registering an account with Wii Experience! You also agree that it is you "The Member" who has the responsibility to fully understand and keep up to date in your knowledge of these rules and that failure to comply with these rules may result in a possible "Permanent Suspension" of your account and privileges to be on Wii Experience (Banned)! -Boss Jr. |
