That is one of those days you remember exactly what you did when you heard!! I remember I was being REALLY angry that they didn't show 90210 because of some stupid airplanes.. It took me a while to understand what was going on!! It's awful what happened!! And I really hate what it has done to the whole world! :( |

~~I sing to life and to its tragic beauty~~
|
9/11, 2001. I had just come home from school. I was sitting on my bed doing my homework and waiting for two of my friends to come over and watch a movie. I had the tv on. I wasn't watching the tv but there was a music show going on. Then I heard the news theme, and I remember thinking to myself "There shouldn't be news at this hour" and turned my head towards the tv. That's when I saw it. The first tower was smoking and it was on fire. I shouted to my brother to come and see what's happening and then I saw the second plane crash into the secodn tower. I just couldn't believe my eyes. It was terrible, people running everywhere, trying to get away from the towers. The sound of sirens as the firemen were trying to get to the towers... The next day at school was really strange too. All the teachers wanted us to talk about what had happened, I guess to make sure we'd all understand and that noone would get into real shock over things. |
