congrats to GB for the gold :D Finns haven't gotten any medals yet. The best result so far was by Mira Nevansuu, who received a 7th place on Women's 10m Air Pistol Final :D Yay for her. Currently a Finnish team is on second place on Sailing (Yngling - Keelboat Women). I don't know when that event will end, but hopefully the end result will be good for us :D I usually watch quite a lot of the Olympics. When ever I see an interesting sport on tv I'll watch it, but mostly those where our countrymen (or women) take part in. At this very moment I'm watching badminton. |

Today has been AMAZING for Finland. WE've received two medals already. First Henri Häkkinen received bronze on men's 10m air rifle. And just now Satu Mäkelä-Nummela got GOLD on women's trap shooting :D :D :D :D |

Oh gosh, Phelps is just amazing. It's unbeliavable to see someone so young being such a great athlete. He surely is the name of the 2008 Olympics. Have huge respect for him for his success. He just makes it look so easy :o |

Yeah congratuations to those ppl who won medals. Yep Michael Phelps is a genius who actually take the place of Ian Thorpe in my heart :P ... in the matter of fact,i respect ppl who are amateur more highly than professionals among medalists. im currently watching table tennis games... :D its raining so hard here in SHA those days ,so it is in Beijing too bad :( but shall we show more respect to those athletes who done well under such a bad condition?... :) |

:o Noooooooooo...... Ian Thorpe is still the man for me :D But Phelps is coming very close. I do still think of Alexander Popov too as one of the greatest swimmers. Tell us Lin, how's the olympic fever around you? Can you feel it in the air even there or is it just focused around Beijing? Yay, Frantz Kruger of Finland made his way to the men discus final :D I hope he'll do well in the final, though he was the last to get there. |
