I wish him and his family all the best!!
Must be hard for someone do be diagnosed with cancer. I work for the “house of cancer” here in Belgium for my school project, and that really made me realise what all those patients and their family are going trough!
Not only for Patrick Swayze but for all cancer patients: my thoughts are with you!

Hollywood star Patrick Swayze is fighting back in his battle against pancreatic cancer

Before and after: actor Patrick Swayze in cancer recovery mode
Posted Image

The man who hot-footed his way to stardom via the film, Dirty Dancing, was given just weeks to live at the start of the year.

But this week the 55-year-old was photographed at Los Angeles airport looking suntanned, fatter and wearing a broad smile.

The last time he was seen in public was in March when he looked tired and drawn and very thin.

This time, the actor told photographers: "I'm cooking. I'm a miracle dude, I don't know why".

Doctors suggest it could be because he is very fit and has stayed positive throughout his treatment.

The star of Ghost and Point Break has been having chemotherapy at Stanford University Medical Centre in California.

Swayze has so impressed his doctors that he has been given the go-ahead to begin filming for his first TV work in years.

Pancreatic cancer is considered one of the hardest to treat successfully; it has a typical success rate of 5%
