STUNNING Jodi Albert is to relaunch her acting career, admitting: “Wonderland broke my heart.”

The wife of Voice judge Kian Egan has held talks about starring in several big UK shows in recent months.

And yesterday Jodi, 29, who rose to fame as Debbie Dean in Hollyoaks, told the Irish Sun she is ready to get back to her first love.

She revealed: “I have had a couple of big offers, one of which I am looking at quite seriously.

“I can’t say anything about it yet because I don’t want to jinx it, and it’s just a little too early to say.”

The brunette babe has spent more than a year as stay-at-home mum to baby Koa.

But insisting the time is now right for a new challenge, she said: “I am so ready to go back to work.

“I have loved being at home with the baby — he’s 16 months now and that’s probably the longest I have ever went without working.

“Since I was ten I’ve been doing something or other, whether it was singing, dancing or acting.”

The Essex girl also explained why she is happy to draw a line under her music career.

She said: “(The end of) Wonderland broke my heart a little bit. We got a No8 album over in the UK — for an unknown girlband it was a huge success.

“I feel so proud of it that I’m not ready to kill that memory yet.”
