Louis Walsh is getting his own reality show.

The ‘X Factor’ judge will be joined by Westlife singer Kian Egan for two-part ITV2 programme, ‘The Management’, which follows the pair’s attempts to launch a new girl band.

Louis – who previously teamed together Girls Aloud – and Kian are currently hunting for wannabe singers to be in the band.

The show will air in October.

Despite launching a new female vocal group, Louis – who also manages Westlife, Boyzone and Jedward – has previously claimed he finds women difficult to work with.

He said: "They're high-maintenance. It's easier to manage boy bands.

“Less hairspray, less make-up, less baggage."

Kian has been managing a girl group featuring his wife Jodi Albert and previously admitted he is “controlling” of the way they are styled.

He said: "I'll certainly be very controlling of their image because I think a lot of girl bands now are way too tarted up. If you look at Girls Aloud's last tour, it's too oversexed.

"Jodi's is more of a classic catwalk Gucci look. That's the sort of sexiness I want to achieve with them."

Westlife's wish has been granted - the boys are finally going home, for the first time in seven years.

The irish band have announced they will play their first gig in Sligo since 2003.

A spokeswoman said "Westlife are delighted that are going back, to Sligo for a gig at Lissadell House.

Leonard Cohen, has already been confirmed, for the same venue and the guys really want to play at the prestigious venue.

"It is going to be a date that is really high in demand, and its its the first concert at Lissadell so its fitting that the boys are playing. "

Tickets for the gig on 30th June, will be on sale from Monday, priced at 55 euros . And it will be a case of business as usual for Kian, who has just launched his new girlband, with Louis Walsh.

Kian and Louis are set to be filmed for a two part reality show on the creating and launch of their girlband Wonderland...

The show will be broadcast in October, will follow the pair as they try and make the girls the next big thing.

The insider added "Ronan Keating had a hand in Westlife but carried on his own career, and it will be the same for Kian. His first priority is Westlife.

The L Factor

X FACTOR judge Louis Walsh is planning his own TV music reality show.
He will team up with Westlife pal Kian Egan to launch a new girlband called Wonderland.

Success story ... Westlife
The two-part series will follow the five girls - who include Kian's wife and ex-Hollyoaks star Jodi Albert, 27 - as they try to crack the charts.

And Louis, 58 - the man behind Boyzone, Westlife and now JLS - confidently predicted: "Wonderland will definitely be the biggest girlband in the world come the end of next year.

"These girls really have something special." Compared to TV juggernaut X Factor, Louis Walsh & Kian Egan's Next Big Thing will be a telly minnow screened on ITV2.

But Wonderland won't be Louis's first act to have an ITV2 reality show - X Factor twins John and Edward Grimes already have one called Jedward: Let Loose.

Just like Boyzone and Westlife, all five Wonderland members are from Dublin.

More than 3,000 hopefuls attended the first audition there - with Sharon Condon, Corrina Durran, Leigh Learmont and Kasey Smith finally being picked to join Kian's missus in the line-up.

Silver-haired Louis added: "It's great that the girls have an ITV2 show already."

It comes after X Factor's future was thrown in doubt this week when Simon Cowell said he had no plans to work in England next year.

Simon revealed: "At the moment you are going to see me doing one show next year - and not one in England.

"I have a contract for this year and that is it."
