Melanie Summers Above: Summers, circa 1999 Vital Statistics at Time of Disappearance Missing Since: October 2, 1999 from Kauai, Hawaii Classification: Endangered Missing Date Of Birth: December 12, 1949 Age: 49 years old Height and Weight: 5'3, 101 pounds Distinguishing Characteristics: Caucasian female. Brown hair, brown eyes. Details of Disappearance Summers was last seen in the Kokee Mountain area of the island of Kauai, Hawaii on October 2, 1999. She had car trouble and stopped at a private residence for help. The occupants referred her to their neighbor. Summers spent the night at the neighbor's home, left in the morning and has never been heard from again. One of her friends reported her missing. There has been no activity on Summers's Social Security number (SSN) since she vanished. Her case remains unsolved.
