Details of Disappearance Nashwah was abducted from her home in the New York City, New York borough of Queens on June 18, 1993. She was abducted by her non-custodial father, Mohammed Saad El-Sayed. Photographs of Mohammed are unavailable. His date of birth is December 6, 1952; he was forty years old at the time that he abducted his daughter. Some agencies refer to Mohammed as Mohammed Saad. Some agencies state that he and Nashwah disappeared from Richmond Hills, New York. After abducting Nashwah, Mohammed fled the United States with her. He is believed to have returned, however, and may be in the New York metropolitan area. Custody of Nashwah has been given to her mother and the Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) has issued a warrant for Mohammed's arrest. Nashwah's case remains unsolved. A photo and vital statistics for him are posted below. Her mother has custody of her. Police and the FBI have issued an arrest warrant for Mohammed Saad El-Sayed. They believe he abducted Nashwah and fled the country, possibly to Egypt, but he may since have returned. Father and daughter may be in the metropolitan area.
