EASTON — Police are asking for tips in an Easton missing person case that marks 23 years on Tuesday, April 19.

State police said in a news release Monday that Robert John Bornos, who was in his 20s, was shooting pool in Easton at the Choptank Inn on April 19, 1993. He reportedly was not feeling well, police said, and left never to be seen again.

Police said his family still meets faithfully with investigators to get new information or a lead that can locate Bornos and bring them closure. Investigators believe there are people who were close to Bornos at the time who may have more information, police said.

Police asked anyone with information on his whereabouts to call state police at 410-822-3101, or the Easton Barracks tip line at 410-819-4786. People can also leave tips on Facebook by going to www.facebook.com/MSPCrimeTips and selecting the "crime tips" icon.
