http://www.azstarnet.com/allheadlines/103579 Clues sought in woman's '89 disappearance Tucson, Arizona | Published: 11.22.2005 advertisementAuthorities are searching in San Manuel for new evidence in a 16-year-old suspicious-death case. Investigators have been searching two homes there since Saturday, looking for evidence that could help solve the disappearance of Melody Wolf, who was 28 when she vanished in October 1989. Detectives are searching the home where Wolf lived when she disappeared and Wolf's mother-in-law's home, said Mike Minter, a spokesman for the Pinal County Sheriff's Department. Wolf was declared deceased under suspicious circumstances in 1994, but her body has never been found. Cold-case investigators are now working on the case, and they hope that any new evidence can be examined using new technology, including DNA analysis, Minter said. |
