Missing Since: June 12, 1989 from Denver, Colorado
Classification: Non-Family Abduction
Date Of Birth: April 29, 1987
Age: 2 years old
Height and Weight: 2'0, 26 pounds
Distinguishing Characteristics: Hispanic male. Brown hair, brown eyes. Moya has a dark complexion. He has facial dimples. Moya has blue-colored birthmarks on his buttocks and on his back. He has a scar on the back of his right leg.
Clothing/Jewelry Description: Yellow pajama pants.


Details of Disappearance

Moya and his mother were sleeping on the couch in an apartment near West Sixth Avenue and Wadsworth Boulevard in Denver, Colorado on June 12, 1989 at approximately 8:30 a.m. They and Moya's infant sister were visiting relatives at the time. His mother awoke at approximately 8:45 a.m. and discovered that the front door was open and her son was missing. There was no sign of Moya or any intruders. He has never been heard from again.
Moya's mother, who has three other children, believes he was abducted but is still alive. She and her boyfriend were questioned after his disappearance and took polygraph tests. Due to the lack of evidence in the child's case, it is classified as a non-family abduction.
