Cynthia Jane Anderson Vital Statistics at Time of Disappearance Missing Since: August 4, 1981 from Toledo, Ohio Classification: Endangered Missing Date Of Birth: February 4, 1961 Age: 20 years old Height and Weight: 5'4, 115 pounds Distinguishing Characteristics: Brown hair, brown eyes. Anderson's nickname is Cindy. She has a chicken pox scar on her forehead and a one-and-a-half-inch scar on the inside of her right knee, shaped like an open fishhook. Clothing/Jewelry Description: A white v-neck dress with pink pinstripes, cinnamon-brown Legg's pantyhose, and beige open-toed ankle-strap sandals. Details of Disappearance Anderson was employed as a secretary at the law offices of James Rabbit and Jay Feldstein on East Manhattan Boulevard in Toledo, Ohio in 1981. She was last seen at the business on August 4 of that year. Her employers discovered that the radio was turned on and their desks were prepared for the day upon their arrival at work. Unclaimed mail had been placed inside the front door handle and a book Anderson was reading was opened on her desk. There was no sign of her elsewhere in the building. Her purse and keys were missing, but her vehicle was locked in the parking lot outside of the office. Anderson has never been seen again. Anderson had received suspicious phone calls at work in the weeks prior to her disappearance which seemed to disturb her. Her family reported that she also suffered from nightmares during the summer of 1981. The message "I love you, Cindy" had been spray-painted on a wall of the plaza where Anderson was employed shortly before she vanished. It was signed with the initials of a maintenance worker from the area. The man in question has since died and it is not known if he was connected to Anderson's disappearance. Anderson's employers installed an emergency buzzer at her desk and also told her to lock the office's doors when she was alone during the summer of 1981 due to the harrassing calls and omnimous messages. There have been several suspects in Anderson's disappearance, none of which have been officially ruled out in her case by investigators. Anthony and Nathaniel Cook, two brothers convicted of nine murders in the Ohio area between them in the 1980's, have denied any involvement in Anderson's case. Another convicted murderer currently imprisoned in Ohio is thought to possibly be involved in her disappearance as well, though any connection has never been established and the man has never been identified. Convicted drug dealer Jose Rodriguez Jr. and his attorney, Richard Neller, are also suspects in Anderson's case. Neller worked with Anderson's law firm during 1981 and authorities theorize that she may have overheard conversations between Neller and Rodriguez concerning drug deals prior to her disappearance. Investigators believe the information may have led to Anderson's possible abduction and/or murder, though this has never been proven. An informant testified at Rodriguez's trial in 1995 that Rodriguez confessed to killing Anderson, but the testimony was ruled to be unreliable. Both Rodriguez and Neller are currently imprisoned due to drug convictions. No one has been charged in connection with Anderson's disappearance and her case remains unsolved. Anderson is described as a devout Christian fundamentalist who enjoyed her job and family life. She had a boyfriend in 1981 and her family has stated it would be extremely uncharacteristic of her to vanish without explanation for her loved ones. 8-22-2010 Mja Inc Investigations CJA--025 Cynthia Jane Anderson : 20 years old Missing since 8-4-1981 from Toledo Lucas County Ohio.. The Doe Network : Case File 287 DFOH http://www.doenetwork.org/cases/287dfoh.html The disappearance of Anderson became our 25th case on 1-2-2002.. The main reason is because of the Geo-Location to other cases Mja works on in Ohio.. Mja Case File I.D.-CJA--025 29 Years has pasted & Victim Cynthia Jane Anderson & her Family & Friends still Seek Justice & waiting for her to be located.. It has been stated : Anderson was last seen at her place of employment on 8-4-1981.. Cynthia Jane Anderson vanished from the law office @ Manhattan Plaza in Toledo Ohio where she worked as a secretary.. She was the first to arrive @ work.. Anderson done her regular morning tasks & disappeared before her co-workers arrived.. Cynthia Jane Anderson had been receiving suspicious calls before she disappeared... The phone calls was alarming enough that Anderson in the summer of 1981 recently had an emergency buzzer installed at her desk at work.. Cynthia Jane Anderson disappeared without a trace on 8-4-1981.. There were several suspects in the case that have never been officially ruled out.. Because of Anderson's sense of Security for her safety & keeping office doors locked @ all times many feel her disappearance was work related.. The following is evidence that points in that direction : 1..There were no signs of a struggle... 2..Anderson's purse & car keys were gone.. 3..Anderson's car remained outside.. 4..The car doors were locked.. Foul play is suspected in the disappearance of Cynthia Jane Anderson.. Why work related ? Its possible that when Anderson arrived @ work one morning thinking she was alone & she wasnt.. Anderson might have over heard part of a conversation that was explosive & some type of confession of Guilt.. The suspect pool suggest this is very possible.. Two of those suspects are serving time for un-related charges & their type of situation could have put Anderson @ risk if she had known.. In return Mja has conducted our ground searches for Cynthia Jane Anderson that fit some of the suspects profile.. Using some of the same suspect profiles Mja tries to find Jane Doe's that might fit the area's we are searching & will be searching.. Leaving nothing to chance we branch out from those locations.. Finding area's that would have some of the geo-markers we would be profiling.. -------------------------------- Posted by : Mja Inc--Mark |
