Take a look at these two and see what you think of as a possibility for our Stockton Jane Doe. The first one was an Italian tourist. I was thinking about the backpack. She came up missing from New Orleans. Could be why they haven't matched her to a California Jane Doe. She is, however listed as being much taller than the UID. But a 5'9" Italian woman? That's not very common, unless she's Venetian or from northern Italy. http://www.theyaremissed.org/ncma/gallery/...php?A200300407S Ylenia Carrisi http://www.charleyproject.org/cases/c/carrisi_ylenia.html Missing Since: January 1994 from New Orleans, Louisiana Classification: Endangered Missing Age: 31 years old Height and Weight: 5'9, 120 pounds Distinguishing Characteristics: Blonde hair, green eyes. Ylenia is an Italian citizen Jeanne Feder: http://www.charleyproject.org/cases/f/feder_jeanne.html Missing Since: February 14, 1994 from Long Beach, California Classification: Missing Date Of Birth: July 25, 1960 Age: 33 years old Height and Weight: 5'4, 90 pounds Distinguishing Characteristics: Blonde hair, brown eyes. Several of Feder's front teeth are missing. She has a tattoo of the letter "M" on her chest. Feder has a tattoo of a flower on her left calf. |

The Old Heifer! An oxymoron, of course.

The first match I can see some resemblance. The difficulties with it, I think, might be the height, age and eye brow arch. On the other hand, the width of the face at cheek bone level and chins are very similar. Is it possible the height for Ms. Carrisi is miscalculated due to conversion? |

The second match...with Ms. Feder would seem to be problematic because of the dentals. I see why you would consider her but unless I misread, it looks like the real teeth were used in the reconstruction and Ms. Feder's history says she is missing a few front teeth? |
