Cold Case: Missing Person of James Mann Morris (aka Mousie)
State Police Request Help Resolving the Missing Person of James Mann Morris (aka Mousie)
Occurred approximately on May 4, 1977

Victim: James Mann Morris (aka Mousie), White Male, 28 years of age.

Location:Henderson County, Kentucky.

Victim was reported missing in 1977 and has never been located. It is believed that Morris was taken to a remote location in Henderson County and shot. Investigation is continuing.

Detectives are requesting help from the community or anyone who might have information on the missing person of James Mann Morris (aka Mousie). Anyone with information can contact the case officers Lt. Pat Isbill, Sgt. Jason Kirk, or Det. Tim Rascoe with the Kentucky State Police Post 16 Henderson, Kentucky at (270)-826-3312 or e-mail them at Lt. Pat Isbill, Sgt. Jason Kirk, or Det. Tim Rascoe.

WESTERN KY (12/13/11)— The Kentucky State Police (KSP) investigate criminal activity across the entire Commonwealth of Kentucky, and, in many instances, the information provided by individual citizens allows law enforcement officials to make important breakthroughs in difficult cases.

With this in mind, members of the KSP Post 16 in Henderson, KY are requesting help from the public in locating a missing person, James Mann Morris (aka Mousie), who was last seen over 34 years ago on May 4th, 1977.

Today, Mr. Morris would be 62 years-old.

As KSP investigators report, Mr. Morris was last seen in Henderson County, KY.

At this time, it is believed that Mr. Morris may have met with foul play in a remote Henderson County location. As further evidence suggests, Mr. Morris may have been shot at this location. However, as mentioned above, the investigation is ongoing.

Detectives are requesting help from the community or anyone who might have information on the missing person of James Mann Morris (aka Mousie). Anyone with information can contact the case officers, Sgt. Jackie Carver or Lt. Sean McKinney, with the Kentucky State Police Post 16 Henderson, Kentucky at (270)-826-3312 or via e-mail at Jackie.Carver@ky.gov or Sean.McKinney@ky.gov.
