Woman's body found by railroad tracks in Brooklyn
News-Democrat
Authorities on Sunday were still trying to identify the body of a woman who was found Saturday in Brooklyn.

The body of a caucasian woman, believed to be between the ages of 25 and 35 with long, brown hair, was discovered about 2:30 p.m. along railroad tracks.

The woman was wearing black shorts and a halter top.

"Right now, we're going to have to wait on some toxicology and some additional tests," said St. Clair County Coroner Rick Stone. "Obviously, we're contacting all the police agencies in the area, trying to see if we can get her identified through fingerprints."

If that is not successful, investigators may try to identify the woman through dental records, Stone said.
