Woman's Body Found On Maryland Road Body Has Not Been Identified POSTED: 7:22 am EDT June 27, 2006 Email This Story | Print This Story GLEN BURNIE, Md. -- State police said the body of a woman was found on Route 100 in Glen Burnie early Tuesday morning. The body was found at about 1:30 a.m. in westbound Route 100 between Ritchie Highway and Interstate 97. State police spokesman 1st Sgt. Russell Newell said the woman, who was in her mid-20s, appears to have been struck by at least one vehicle. He said one motorist returned to the scene to say he may have hit the woman, but they're still looking for the original driver. Investigators have not positively identified the woman, and they are still trying to establish how and why she was struck. The body will be taken to the Office of the Medical Examiner in Baltimore for an autopsy http://www.nbc4.com/news/9430690/detail.html |
