I think this was coming sooner or later. Everyday we take for granted those men and women who protect us from harm and uphold the law. I speak of police officers. Those people we take for granted and criticize yet they are willing to put their lives on the line for people from all walks of life. Addition: Someone asked me recently if this was a list for police officers who passed away. Although I wish I could list them all, we do not have the space. We only have the space for those who died in the line of duty. It doesn't matter if an officer is off-duty or retired, he/she will always remain a part of the service. It never leaves them and it takes a unique kind of person to be that dedicated.
