http://www.atlantamusicguide.com/atlanta_j...onstitution.htm Woman killed while walking along highway A woman was killed early Sunday morning when she was struck by a car while walking along a DeKalb County interstate, police said. The woman, who was not identified, was traveling with a man when for some unknown reason, the vehicle pulled over on the side of the westbound highway near Panola Road, said Officer Herschel Grangent. Police also do not know why the women then got out to the vehicle and began walking. She was struck in the far right lane and died at the scene, Grangent said. The driver who struck the woman stopped after the collision, and was not immediately charged. The investigation continues. |

omg! There are FAR too many people just getting out of cars on highways and lonely roads and walking! Wayyyyyy too easy to get hit. If things are so bad IN the car, just think if the person driving the car decided to run over you when you got out?? Then there are the people that cant see you walking beside the road. I still think Delta Dawn's mother also was in one of those rivers, killed at the same time as the baby. When you come over, Lynn, I will show you how those rivers just run all over the place and fast current in places. I believe the baby was in the bushes on the edge and either mother was killed or walked into the water and died, then swept away. Mainly because they say that the trucker saw an adult in the water, NOT a baby. |
