http://dailyjournalonline.com/news/local/o...85cdcd8759.html One festival-goer missing, another found RENEE BRONAUGH 573-518-3617 Aug 23, 2017 Updated 7 hrs ago Another missing person from Astral Valley The St. Francois County Sheriff’s Department is looking for second man who is missing from the Astral Valley festival over the weekend. St. Francois County Sheriff Dan Bullock said they are looking for Kyle R. Bevilacque, 28, of Wisconsin, who was last seen at Astral Valley, a concert and festival venue located in northern St. Francois County near French Village. “According to his mother he was at Astral Valley for the weekend and his friends told her he was missing and last seen on Tuesday,” said Bullock. “They looked for him and couldn’t find him. He is described as a white male, 5 foot 8 and 140 pounds, brown hair and brown eyes.” “We did issue a check the well-being and missing person’s report for Bevilacque in the Missouri Uniform Law Enforcement System, so if he is picked up anywhere they should notify us,” said Bullock. Anyone with any information on Bevilacque’s whereabouts is asked to call the St. Francois County Sheriff’s Department at 573-756-3252 or by calling St. Francois County 911 Dispatch at 573-431-3131. This is a developing story and the Daily Journal will provide more details as they become available. The two missing persons reports taken Wednesday are unrelated. The St. Francois County Sheriff’s Department located a missing Springfield man after a resident in the area spotted him and called police Wednesday afternoon. St. Francois County Sheriff Dan Bullock said Ryan K. Duplessis, 23, walked out of the woods and onto Rouggly Road Wednesday afternoon after attending a festival Tuesday at Astral Valley Art Park near French Village. “He thought he was still on Astral Valley property,” said Bullock. “He had been wandering around out there for a couple days. He’s in rough shape considering the circumstances and we have him at the sheriff’s department now.” Bullock said they still don’t know all the details at this time of what happened, but intend to find out. Duplessis was first reported missing Tuesday night by a friend who had been at the Astral Valley festival with him. His friend told the sheriff’s department that Astral Valley workers found Duplessis' shoes, wallet and cellphone on the premises. The following morning his brother showed up at the sheriff’s department to report that Duplessis never came home from the festival. Detectives were working to get as much information they could Wednesday morning into the early afternoon before the call came in that he located.

A 28-year-old Wisconsin man missing for more than 30 hours has been found safe, according to St. Francois County Sheriff Dan Bullock. According to his family, a grounds crew who saw the updated photo on the Daily Journal web site spotted the man sleeping in his friend's vehicle Thursday night on Astral Valley property. Bullock said the man was immediately told to call his mother. Bullock said authorities were notified Wednesday afternoon that Kyle R. Bevilacque was missing and had not made it home from a weekend festival at Astral Valley, a concert venue in northern St. Francois County near French Village. “His mother called us after a couple of his friends informed her that he was missing and they couldn’t find him,” said Bullock Wednesday afternoon. “Since the initial report we have discovered that Bevilacque’s friend’s car is also missing, but we don’t know if he took it or not.” Bevilacque’s mom described the car as a dark gray newer model Toyota Camry with Illinois license plates. Authorities were unable to contact the friend who owned the vehicle. In those 30 hours, Bullock said his deputies drove through the area surrounding Astral Valley looking for Bevilacque and they have checked the hotels, motels and hospitals. The grounds crew found him after 9 p.m. Thursday. The report of Bevilacque’s disappearance came a short time after another person who was reported missing from Astral Valley on Tuesday. Ryan K. Duplessis, 23, of Springfield, was located Wednesday afternoon after a resident in the area saw him wander out of the woods. Duplessis wandered from Astral Valley and became lost. http://dailyjournalonline.com/news/local/m...d4b12882a4.html |
