Human remains found on island in Little Bay identified Remains are those of Matthew Sullivan, of Dover, police say WMUR Updated: 11:53 PM EDT Jul 27, 2017 Tom Griffith News Anchor DURHAM, N.H. —The human remains found on an island in Little Bay this month have now been identified. The office of the chief medical examiner was able to identify the remains as those of Matthew Sullivan, 50, a Dover resident. Sullivan was last heard from on Sept. 6. His vehicle was discovered parked in the area of Hilton Park on Little Bay. On July 3, the remains were discovered on the island. Durham and Dover police began an investigation, assisted by the New Hampshire Marine Patrol and state police. The cause and manner of Sullivan's death will ultimately be determined by the medical examiner.
