Remains Found in Wooded Southlake Area Identified as Man, 60

NBC 5 News
According to police, a utility worker reported finding what he believed to be human remains in a wooded area near the 1300 block of North White Chapel Boulevard.
Authorities identified the human remains found in Southlake Monday as a 60-year-old man.

The Tarrant County Medical Examiner's Office Friday morning identified the body found in a wooded area in the 1300 block of North White Chapel Boulevard as Joshua L. Michelson.
Detectives said Michelson's remains appeared to have been at the location for some time.

Southlake police said Michelson had been visiting an acquaintance in the area shortly before he was reported missing May 25.
Investigators said Michelson had expressed a desire to harm himself before he disappeared.

Police said the cause of death is still pending, but there is no immediate indication of foul play.
