Police said Jeff Albert Manchini left Katera's Kove, a personal care and secured dementia community, at about 8:30 p.m. Sunday and did not return to the facility on Norwood Drive when he was supposed to come back at 9 p.m. Manchini was last seen in the area of Rochester Township at about 11:30 p.m., police said. Staff members reported him missing at 3:22 a.m. Monday, according to police. Manchini is described as white, 5 feet 6 inches tall and 340 pounds, with short black hair and green eyes. He wears glasses and was last seen wearing black shorts and a black shirt. Anyone who sees Manchini or knows his whereabouts should call state police in Beaver at 724-773-7400 or contact their local police department. |

Jeff Albert Manchini, 39, was located Tuesday and taken to Heritage Valley Beaver hospital to be checked out, according to state police. His condition was not made clear. Jeff Manchini left Katera's Kove in Big Beaver around 8:30 p.m. and did not return at 11 p.m. Sunday as expected. Manchini had been missing after he left the Katera's Kove facility in Big Beaver around 8:30 p.m. Sunday and did not return around 11 p.m. as expected. Police were in touch with him in Rochester Township around 11:30 p.m. Sunday, but he was not detained because he was not yet considered a missing person, state police said. Katera's Kove staff did not immediately return a call for comment. |
