The body of Matthew Johnson was pulled from the Missouri River on Monday. He was reported missing from Kansas City, Kan., on June 18. JULY 07, 2017 5:21 PM Man’s body pulled from Missouri River identified as 26-year-old Matthew Johnson BY TORIANO PORTER tporter@kcstar.com The nearly three-week search for a 26-year-old man missing from Kansas City, Kan., is over after the man’s body was pulled from the Missouri River in Carroll County, Mo. The Carroll County sheriff’s office identified Matthew Johnson as the man pulled from the river Monday. He was positively identified Thursday. Officials in Carroll County did not say how Johnson died and referred questions to the Kansas City, Kan., Police Department.
