Missing Chattanooga woman identified from badly decomposed remains by WTVCMonday, June 19th 2017 The Sequatchie County Sheriff's Office (SCSO) have identified a badly decomposed body found on the side of Highway 111 in late April. (Image: SCSO, WTVC) AA SEQUATCHIE COUNTY, Tenn. — The Sequatchie County Sheriff's Office (SCSO) have identified a badly decomposed body found on the side of Highway 111 in late April. The SCSO says they have identified the body of 24-year-old Zulma Karina Quizar Say, a Hispanic woman from Chattanooga. NewsChannel 9 reported on April 27th that a female inmate litter crew found the body, but police were unable to identify it due to how badly decomposed it was. The TBI and 12th Judicial District Attorney's Office joined the SCSO in the investigation. It was during the investigation that a Chattanooga Police Department's missing person investigation was brought up. A positive match was made between DNA samples taken from children of the missing person and the body discovered by the litter crew. The SCSO, TBI, and Chattanooga Police Department are investigating this case. If you have any information about the case, please call the Sequatchie County Sheriff's Office at 423-949-7750 and ask to speak to Detective Jody Lockhart or Detective Paul Howard. http://newschannel9.com/news/local/missing...omposed-remains |
