(News 4 & Fox 11) — The Plumas County Sheriff's Office is asking for the public's help to find a 58-year-old woman reported missing on Sunday. The sheriff's office says Teresa "Terry" Marie Blake was reported missing at about 1:15 p.m. Sunday, June 4. She reportedly left the Feather River RV Resort, about an hour northwest of Reno, and did not return. Her car, a white 2016 Acura RDX, was found in a wooded area off Highway 70 near Graeagle. A search and rescue team has been dispatched, and the sheriff's office is asking anyone with information to contact authorities at (530) 283-6300. Plumas County Sheriff's Office 15 hours ago *Update* 22:16 crews where unable to locate Terry and will be back at it tomorrow. ***** The Plumas County Sheriff’s Office is currently conducting a search operation for Teresa “Terry” Marie Blake. The 58-year-old female was reported missing on June 4th 2017 at around 1:15 p.m., since then Blake’s white 2016 Acura RDX was located in a wooded area just off Highway 70 near Graeagle. The Sheriff’s Search and Rescue team has been dispatched to the location. Blake left from the Feather River RV Resort to go fishing and did not return. Anyone with information on Terry or her whereabouts is encouraged to contact the Sheriff’s Office at 530-283-6300

Teresa “Terry” Marie Blake, 58, was reported missing June 4. Blake left the Feather River RV Resort to go fishing but failed to return. Her car was found in a wooded area just off Highway 70 near Graeagle on June 5. Plumas County Sheriff Greg Harwood said in a news release that Blake’s body was found Tuesday by search and rescue team members in Willows along the Middle Fork of the Feather River, about three-quarters of a mile from where she left her car. Her body was found after search and rescue personnel found items belonging to Blake close by. Harwood said that foul play is not suspected. Cause of death will be determined by an autopsy. Her family posted news of her death in a Facebook report Wednesday morning: “Yesterday, Terry Blake was found. Unfortunately, she had passed away and is no longer with us. We will continue to love her every day and miss her entirely.” |
