WATCH Man found near Jessamine Co. hospital has been identified

JESSAMINE COUNTY, Ky. (WKYT) - The man found at St. Joseph Jessamine has been identified as 21-year-old, James "Neal" Dixon.

According to investigators, a maintenance worker at the hospital found the man in the driveway leading up to the hospital on Tuesday afternoon. Police say he was behind the shrubs.

The coroner tells WKYT that the man was only wearing blue jeans and did not have any form of identification. He was contacted by Dixon's mother and based on her description of his tattoos with what his deputies saw at the scene, he originally told her that he did not think it was her son.

The coroner says however, after more thorough investigation on Wednesday morning at the State Medical Examiner's Office, fingerprinting confirmed that it was Dixon.

Police are still investing the cause of death and awaiting the results of toxicology tests.
