UPDATE: Body on top of Glasgow building identified WATCH: Body found on top of a Glasgow building By WBKO News Staff | Posted: Mon 1:57 PM, Apr 17, 2017 | Updated: Mon 8:41 PM, Apr 17, 2017 UPDATE: GLASGOW, Ky. (WBKO) - The Glasgow Police Department says the deceased female found on the roof of a building on the Glasgow square has been identified as Krystal Mitchell, 30, of Austin Tracy. A witness says the woman's body was found on this rooftop, which connects to the Glasgow Square Allstate building. There are no further updates at this time. As further details become available police will release them. If anyone has information into the death of Ms Mitchell, please call Crime Stoppers at 270-781-CLUE and you will remain anonymous, or call Captain Arborgast of the Glasgow Police Department at 270-651-6165. The Glasgow Police Department received a phone call of a possible dead body on top of a rooftop connected to the Public Square's Allstate agency around 10:10 Monday morning. Kelly Underwood, a cook at the Fine Arts Bistro in downtown Glasgow, says Monday's unexpected news put the Square at a standstill. "There was at least two ambulances and a fire truck and several police cars, which really clogged the Square up. People couldn't find parking. Everybody wanted to know what was going on," Underwood stated. Glasgow Police Chief Guy Howie says it was a woman's body discovered on the rooftop, with her not identified yet. "Right now we are treating the death as suspicious. There is no indication that it's a blatant homicide, but we are treating it as a suspicious death," Chief Howie mentioned. The woman's body will be transported to Louisville for an autopsy, with results expected Tuesday. We'll continue to follow developments as they become available. If you have any information over what happened to the unidentified woman, please call Captain Arbogast with the Glasgow Police Department at (270) 651-5151 or Crime Stoppers at (270) 781-CLUE. http://www.wbko.com/content/news/Body-foun...-419636204.html |
