http://weartv.com/news/local/family-hasnt-...oman-for-a-week Family hasn't seen missing Crestview woman for a week by Allie Norton Monday, April 3rd 2017 CRESTVIEW, Fla. (WEAR) — The Crestview Police Department is asking for help finding a 28-year-old woman. Allie Norton @AllieWEAR Calandra Stallworth's family praying for her return. The mom of 2 was officially reported missing. Family hasn't seen her in a week @weartv 6:11 PM - 3 Apr 2017 · Crestview, FL Photos of Calandra Stallworth have circulated social media for days. However, Stallworth was not reported missing until Monday. "I'm very worried, very worried," Stallworth's mother, Shelia Knight said. "I just want somebody to find her. It's so hard. I never thought this would happen to me." Crestview Police said that Stallworth disappeared sometime last week but when she learned that she was considered missing she went to the police department on March 27 to turn herself in. Stallworth told officers that she and her boyfriend lost phone signal when they went to rural Alabama for a getaway. However, police said she disappeared again right after checking in and has not been seen since. "At first, we just had a 'be on the alert' for her because no one stepped forward and officially listed her as missing," Crestview Police Spokesman Brian Hughes said. Deputies with the Okaloosa County Sheriff's Office spotted Stallworth's vehicle leaving a Motel 6 on Harbor Boulevard in Destin on Sunday. According to an arrest report, 33-year-old Antwon Smith was driving the vehicle and another woman, 18-year-old Taleah Durm was in the passenger's seat. Durm has also been considered missing along with Stallworth. Knight told WEAR-TV that Smith was Stallworth's boyfriend. "It turned out that there might have been a link between the two women and there might have been a common boyfriend," Hughes said. "We can't talk about that at this point." Police are now investigating the link between Stallworth, Durm and Smith. Smith was arrested because he did not have a valid license. Deputies also found marijuana and cocaine in his pocket. Knight hopes that he will shed light on where her daughter might be and has this message for her: "I love her very much," Knight said. "I tell her that all the time. We're going crazy, me and her dad. Can't eat, can't sleep. Just want to know she's okay." Anyone with information on Stallworth's whereabouts is asked to contact police at 850-682-2055. Allie Norton @AllieWEAR Have you seen her? Calandra Stallworth, 28, has officially been reported missing. Her car was found Sunday at Motel 8 in Destin. @weartv 6:29 PM - 3 Apr 2017 · Florida, USA 29 29 Retweets 12 12 likes |

A CRESTVIEW WOMAN STILL MISSING A Crestview woman is still missing as police continue to investigate her disappearance. Calandra Stallworth was reported missing near the end of March to the Crestview Police Department. On March 27, Stallworth informed the police department she wasn’t missing. She told the CPD she was in Alabama with her boyfriend, Antwon Smith, for a getaway and had poor cell phone signal. Stallworth never contacted family members to tell them she was in Alabama and wasn’t missing, according to the family. Have information on Calandra Stallworth’s disappearance? Contact the Crestview Police Department at 850-682-3544. Stallworth’s car was spotted in Destin on April 2, but it was being driven by Smith. Taleah Durm was in the vehicle with Smith. Durm was believed to be missing at the time as well. Smith was arrested at the scene for cocaine possession, marijuana possession and driving with a suspended or revoked license, according to Okaloosa County Clerk of Courts records. Stallworth wasn’t in her vehicle that night. Nearly a month after her disappearance, contact with Stallworth has not been made. Friends and family members have taken to social media in the hopes of learning more information on her whereabouts.http://www.wzep1460.com/a-crestview-woman-still-missing/ |

MISSING IN AMERICA JUN 12 2017, 3:54 PM ET Florida Mother Calandra Stallworth’s Disappearance Remains a Mystery by JANE HERMAN SHARE Calandra Stallworth Crestview Police Department Calandra Stallworth made a habit of speaking with her grandma every single day. “She used to call me on her way to work and would sit and talk to me when she got home,” her grandma, Joan Harvey told Dateline. “I really miss that,” she said. Calandra, a mother of two young children, from Crestview, Florida has been missing for over two months and family members are concerned for her safety. On March 27, Calandra Stallworth dropped her two young daughters off at her grandmother’s house next door and went to work at the Hilton Sandestin Beach. Later that evening, Joan said that Calandra called to let her know that she was on her way to pick up her children. But she never showed up that night. The next morning, Joan and Calandra’s parents started to worry. “There’s no way she would leave us,” said Joan. “She sure wouldn’t.” Calandra’s family describes her as outgoing, loving, and a caring mother to her daughters. “But she didn’t always pick the best guys,” Calandra’s cousin, Rebecca Stewart told Dateline. During the time of her disappearance, Calandra was dating a man with a criminal record named Antwon Smith. “I know he is the reason why she is missing,” Rebecca said. “He was locked up right before all this happened.” Joan said she feared Antwon may have been abusive towards Calandra. “I told him, ‘If you ever put your hands on her in front of me – me and you are going to go head to head,’” said Joan, who has always been protective of her granddaughter. On April 2, a few days after her disappearance, Calandra’s car was spotted in Destin, Florida. When police stopped the vehicle, Antwon Smith was driving the car and another woman was in the passenger seat. Smith was arrested at the scene for cocaine and marijuana possession and for driving with a suspended or revoked license, according to Okaloosa County Clerk of Courts records. Calandra wasn’t in the car that night, but her cell phone was found with Antwon, according to her family. Officials at the Crestview Police Department say they are pursuing all leads, but will not release any information because this is an active missing persons investigation. “We have not received anything to indicate this is a homicide,” Public Information Officer, Brian Hughes told Dateline. Antwon is being held in the Okaloosa County Jail on the possession charges, and has not been in contact with Calandra’s family. “I think that her disappearance is definitely connected to Antwon,” said Calandra’s cousin Rebecca. “He was controlling and you can tell that he was an abusive type of person.” “He isn’t going to let us visit, because he knows what he did,” said Joan. “I don’t even want to see his face – it makes me so angry.” Joan is a diabetic with high blood pressure and says that even thinking about Antwon is bad for her health. Calandra suffers from the same condition as her grandmother. “She needs her medicine,” Joan told Dateline. “Who is making sure she is taking her insulin?” Joan asked. Joan is asking the community to look out for Calandra. ”Maybe someone has seen her and can put in a call,” she said. “We need help finding her.” Joan hopes that Calandra will contact her family to let them know she is alive. “I have grandkids all over -- in Florida and Alabama -- and I love them all, but she’s the one that stayed next to me,” said Joan. “I need her home.” Officials at the Crestview police department says they have exhausted all leads in this investigation and invite the public to come forward. Calandra is described as 5'6" tall, weighing 220 lbs. with black hair and brown eyes. Anyone with information on her whereabouts is urged to contact the Crestview Police Department at (850) 682-3544 or (850) 682-2055. http://www.nbcnews.com/feature/missing-in-...mystery-n771136 |
