http://6abc.com/news/crime-fighters-mom-de...ughter/1627131/ CRIME FIGHTERS: $1,000 REWARD OFFERED IN MISSING WOMAN MYSTERY Sunday, November 27, 2016 OLNEY (WPVI) -- Gloria McHale hasn't seen or heard from her daughter, Amy, in months. "She left my house on the 13th of June. She left in shorts, a tank top and a little pocketbook," said Gloria McHale, mother. She says Amy sent a text to her daughter the next day and then nothing. "After that we could not, you call her phone and it would just ring and ring, or go straight to voice mail. We were never able to reach her on her phone again," said Gloria. Gloria says the 44-year-old did have some problems. "She seemed a little depressed, but you know she has mental issues," said Gloria. Amy was last seen June 14 at 10 p.m. along Broad and Olney avenues in Philadelphia's Olney section. She was wearing shorts and a tank top. She is described as 5 feet tall, weighing about 140 pounds, with green eyes and shoulder-length brown hair. "She has a tattoo on her right thigh, a butterfly tattoo on her right thigh, and a little rose tattoo on her left shoulder," said Gloria. The Citizens Crime Commission is administering a $1,000 reward for any information that leads to Amy's whereabouts. Anonymous tips can be submitted by calling 215-546-TIPS. For Gloria, she says it's the not knowing that hurts the most. "I wake up in the middle of the night, and it's on my mind. I can't get it off my mind. I try and keep busy, but it's always there," said Gloria. |
