This is the article on the skull:http://www.star-telegram.com/news/local/co...e120077973.html

and I would like to match that to a missing out of Scurry County , Tx,

David Emerson Jr.https://www.findthemissing.org/en/cases/28172/15/

Both had metal in the side of their face.

The distance is a few hours from Parker County

Thank you for your interest. I will forward this to our Medical Examiner’s Office but our remains have damage to the left side of the face.

My name is Det. Mike Counts and I am the investigator over the David Emerson missing person case in Snyder, Texas. I have read your email that you sent to Chief of Police Terry Luecke about the skull that was located in Parker County. According to the article that you sent the metal that was found on the skull was located on the left side of the face. David Emerson had a surgical scar and metal on the right side of the face. Because of this it may not be a match. I will however follow up with Parker County and make sure that the medical examiner’s office submits DNA for comparison against David Emerson. Thanks for your attention to these cases and any further information you obtain will be greatly appreciated.

Thank you for submitting your inquiry regarding the found remains in Parker County. I have reviewed your case and found that the person you have submitted does not fit the immediate criteria of the remains found as the medical intervention on the skull are on the left eye and your missing persons had medical intervention on the right eye. We would be happy to examine any other inquires that you have. If you have any questions please feel free to contact me at 682-229-2115.

Sincerely,

Bryan Wright
