Her daughter has been missing for three weeks, but Christina Kramer hasn't given up hope. "We’re trying to keep positive," Kramer said. "We just keep praying to God that she’s out there waiting for us to come and find her.” Angie Barlow, 23, last posted a picture on Snapchat around 11:45 p.m. on Oct. 26, the night she went to a party in Indianapolis, Kramer said. One of the people who saw her last said she had gotten calls from a guy and left the party around 3 a.m. When one of Barlow's friends called the next day, Kramer said she knew something was wrong. The family filed a missing person's report Oct. 27. "It’s a living hell," Kramer said. "Just not knowing where she’s at, if something’s wrong — it’s god-awful. When they say it’s a parent’s worst nightmare, that’s no joke.” So they keep looking. A Facebook page, Bring Angie Barlow Home, features missing person fliers, photos and details about the night Barlow went missing. There have been candlelight vigils and search parties. Sunday night, in Muncie, where Kramer and her family live, friends and family organized a bowling fundraiser to put up a monetary reward that the family plans to offer to anyone who provides substantial information that leads investigators to Barlow, Kramer said. |

Missing Indianapolis woman may have been in trunk of her own car By Bennett Haeberle Published: November 23, 2016, 6:04 pm Updated: November 23, 2016, 6:59 pm Related Coverage Parents continue to search for daughter missing since October INDIANAPOLIS (WISH) — Hours before her parents would file a missing persons report, Angie Barlow texted this message to a friend: Doing a private party at this address just in case I go missing lol.” It is believed to be the last text message she sent anyone. The 23-year old dancer has not been seen in nearly a month. Her disappearance is still considered to be a missing persons case. But newly uncovered court documents obtained by I-Team 8 are raising questions about if police are shifting the focus of their investigation. The records show that the missing Indianapolis woman may have been placed in the trunk of her own car and driven away from a northwest side apartment complex where she was attending that private party. Details from the search warrant affidavit also show that detectives reviewed surveillance video and took DNA swabs from her Pontiac G6, which was discovered on the east side of Indianapolis. The records show detectives may have discovered blood on a rear seatback. Her car was discovered by authorities on Nov. 8. The court documents also show that detectives believe Barlow went to an apartment complex on the northwest side of town through an acquaintance she met. Surveillance footage shows that Barlow’s car left around 3:30 a.m. It was followed by another car. Barlow’s mother told investigators that she had learned her daughter may have been with a man she had met at Club Rio, where Barlow worked as a dancer. Fliers and billboards with Barlow’s picture have been strewn across social media asking for details of her whereabouts for weeks. Her parents tell I-Team 8 that they are hoping someone will come forward but they know there are certain details have been kept from them. “We just want her home,” Christina Kramer told I-Team 8’s Bennett Haeberle during an interview Wednesday. “We asked detectives about where the driver’s seat was placed, but they said they couldn’t tell us. “It’s scary extremely terrifying to not know where she is at or what happened,” Christina said. “I’m sorry…,” she said fighting back tears. “Somebody out there knows something,” she later said. I-Team 8 recorded video of crime scene technicians on Monday leaving the northwest side apartment complex where Barlow was last seen. Police would not release details on their activities, saying only that they were serving a search warrant as part of an ongoing investigation. When asked if the focus of their investigation had shifted, IMPD Maj. Rick Riddle told I-Team 8 that the case remains a missing persons investigation. http://wishtv.com/2016/11/23/missing-india...of-her-own-car/ |

http://fox59.com/2017/06/20/police-investi...east-side-home/ UPDATE: Human remains found on northeast side may belong to missing woman, sources say POSTED 3:19 PM, JUNE 20, 2017, BY FOX59 WEB, UPDATED AT 04:19PM, JUNE 20, 2017 INDIANAPOLIS, Ind.– Sources say a body found Tuesday on the city’s northeast side may belong to a missing Muncie woman. A tip led investigators to a home the the 5300 block of East 43rd Street just after 1 p.m., where remains were found buried in the backyard. Forensic lab technicians and cadaver dogs are at the scene, along with missing persons detectives. Sources tell FOX59 the property search is being done in connection with the disappearance of Angie Barlow, who has been missing since October 2016. They are also looking into other missing persons cases. An official identification will not be announced until dental and DNA records are examined. University of Indianapolis forensic anthropologists are on the scene and indicate the remains have been buried for at least several months. Barlow, 23, was last seen on October 27 before she vanished at a party. Police found Barlow’s car in November. Just last month, IMPD served a search warrant at a Muncie home in connection with her disappearance. Police arrested a woman accused of stealing $8,000 from the bank account of Barlow’s grandmother. Her parents told FOX59 they hoped the arrest led to info about their missing daughter. Christina Barlow-Kramer, Angie’s mother, issued this statement: “We do want to thank people for any and all information and tips that they give. We really appreciate people looking out and trying to help us in the search for our daughter. It is hard to sit back and wait for results. It’s hard to be patient. But, we have to put our faith in law enforcement and trust that they are doing everything necessary to find our daughter. We know that they are actively working.” The occupant of the home has spoken with officers. Anyone with information on the case should call Crime Stoppers at 317-262-TIPS. This story is developing and will be updated. |
