https://www.facebook.com/JusticeForChaz/pho...4321004/?type=3 On December 3, 2015 Chaz Alfred Richardson went missing. He was in his home in Griffith Holler Surveyor WV. He was not alone. There were 4 people with Chaz when he went "missing". All 4 of these people have told several different stories about what happened to Chaz. The case has been in the hands of the Raleigh County Sheriffs Department. WE NEED ANSWERS. If you have any information on what happened to Chaz please contact us. amily looks for answers after Raleigh County man disappears 37 By Annie Moore, WVVA Multimedia Journalist - Beckley newsroomCONNECT Posted: Jan 19, 2016 2:24 PM EST Surveyor (WVVA) Family and friends are looking for answers after a Raleigh County man disappears in Surveyor. Sheriff's deputies said Chaz Alfred Richardson walked into the woods on December 3rd and never came back. "He had two little girls who he thought the world of. He was trying to grow up finally," said Richardson's brother Aaron Crump. Crump said the last time he spoke to his brother was on November 29, 2015. He said Richardson was trying to start a savings account and turn his life around. Little did he know, his whole world was about to change. "I sit around and think about it all of the time. Different scenarios play out in my head but not of them end well. It's an awful experience," said Crump. Crump said witnesses reported to deputies that Richardson had suffered a seizure. When he came to, he said his brother took off up a hill near Griffith's Hollow, but that's where the trail turned cold. Crump said no one seems to know what happened next. The hope Crump had been hanging onto for his little brother was lost when Richardson never called his girls at Christmas. "If you're out there, keep an eye out for him. He didn't deserve this. He didn't deserve to be lost and forgotten out here." Anyone with information on Richardson's whereabouts may contact Det. C. Suman with the Raleigh County Sheriff's Dept. http://www.wvva.com/story/31003081/2016/01...-man-disappears |

Group gathers to search for missing Surveyor man 14 By John Asebes, WVVA Multimedia Journalist - Bluefield newsroomCONNECT Posted: May 07, 2016 7:32 PM EDT SURVEYOR, WV (WVVA) The search is on for Chaz Richardson. "He didn't even like the woods, at all, he wouldn't just run off in the woods. He has been gone for 6 months, what is he living in the woods for 6 months?" says his mother Leisa Wellington. His family says they were told that on December 3, he had a seizure, then got up and went walking out into the woods. To his family, that doesn't sound like Chaz. Either way, his family made their way around the woods Saturday with help from friends, family and volunteers, all diligently looking for any signs of Chaz. "My mom and his mom are cousins so I came out with my mom to support Leisa just try and bring him home," says volunteer Zack Long. Everyone remains hopeful they will find him alive, but the family also brought in Robert Larson with K-9 Specialties. "We are looking for a cadaver at this point. I am going to give the dogs a cadaver scent and they know what they are looking for," says Larson. Volunteers are covering a large part of Surveyor and surrounding area's. Creeks, railroad tracks and heavily brushed area's are many of the places people are searching for Richardson. The family feels this is suspicious and thinks somebody knows something, and wish they would please come forward. Richardson's mother Leisa w\Wellington says she hopes to find her son, so she can finally have closure. http://www.wvva.com/story/31917350/2016/05...ng-surveyor-man |
