Police are looking for an 85-year-old man who family members said was last seen about two weeks ago.

According to the missing person report from the St. Louis Metropolitan Police Department, family members of Herbert Brown, 85, called St. Louis Metro Police on May 16 saying they hadn't heard from him in a few days.

Went to Brown's home on the 4400 block of Bessie and found the back door open and his car gone, which the family said was unusual.

His car, a Mercury Mariner, was found empty on May 24 behind the 4000 block of Labadie. Witnesses said the car was left there several days earlier by an unknown female.

The investigation is ongoing. Anyone with information in this case is asked to call 911.
