Agents with the Oklahoma Bureau of Investigation now have a face to put with human remains found in Pittsburg County last year.

OSBI Forensic Artist Harvey Pratt completed a facial reconstruction from human bones and a skull found in a wooded area on Wagnon Ranch near Quinton on Dec. 13, 2012, according to a release from the bureau.

The medical examiner has determined the remains are that of a white or Hispanic male between 40 and 60 years old and between 5’3” and 5’8” tall.

The medical examiner was able to determine the man was right handed and also suffered a broken lower left rib at some point in his life. Investigators believe the body was placed in that wooded area two to five years ago.

The victim’s manner of death is unknown at this time, according to the OSBI.
This description does not fit any missing persons’ reports in the surrounding area.

If you have any information that might help identify the victim, you’re asked to call the Pittsburg County Sheriff’s Office at (918) 423-5858.
