UPDATED Thursday, November 12, 2015 -- 10:00 p.m. MILTON, Wis.--- Its been almost six months since anyone saw husband, father, and friend Adam Mills. While police continue to work the Milton's man disappearance, friends are holding on to hope. "It was the last thing we expected and to disappear without any trace is so unlike him," Mills' friend Susie Jacobson said. When Jacobson initially heard the news she didn't believe it. Mills was best friends with Susie's daughter and like a son to her. She last spoke to him in the spring time. "I asked him how he was and he just seemed kind of down wasn't the upbeat Adam, I didn't question it and then poof he's gone. Now I wish I could have said more," Jacobson said. Mills was last seen the morning of May 27th walking on East Madison Avenue. Since then the community has searched and hoped but those efforts have come up empty. "We don't know much more than we did in May," Milton Police Chief Scott Marquardt, said. Milton Police say they've checked everything from his social media footprint to cell phone and bank transactions. "Those threads have been looked at and unfortunately they haven't revealed much," Marquardt added. Though alleged sightings have been reported Chief Marquardt says nothing has been confirmed. "It's literally been from the city of Janesville which is just down the road to Tallahassee Florida." But friends of the 31 year old remain positive and hope he finds his way back soon. "He's OK it's just a matter of where," Jacobson said. "Adam you got to come home." ----------------------------------------- UPDATED: Tuesday, June 2, 2015 --- 11:24 a.m. MILTON, Wis.--- A missing man may have been in a tavern in the Village of Cambridge on Saturday, May 30, according to a release from the Milton Police Department.
