According to a press release by the Sheriff's Office, deputies were called to the Gales Creek community at around 4:30 p.m. by a Clean Water Services contractor who was spraying noxious weeds in the area. The contractor discovered the decomposed human remains about a half-mile west of NW Roderick Road, along the creek. A cause of death was not immediately able to determined. The remains are believed to be from an adult, and an autopsy is scheduled to be performed Thursday, according to the press release. Anyone with information that may help identify the body can contact the Washington County Sheriff's Office at 503-629-0111. |
