PECOS COUNTY – The Pecos County Sheriff’s Office is investigating after some skeletal remains were found.

We’re told the remains were found about 22 miles east of Fort Stockton near Interstate 10, under a bridge and some brush.

Officials say a ranch worker found the remains on Wednesday.

The remains are said to be a human skull and some bones.

The remains will be sent to a forensic lab in Fort Worth to determine how long they’ve been there as well as if it’s a man or woman.

Only after the last tree has been
cut down;
Only after the last fish has been
caught;
Only after the last river has been
poisoned;
Only then will you realize
that money cannot be eaten.
