Skeletal Remains Found in Pecos County Posted: May 16, 2014 12:07 PM CDT Updated: May 16, 2014 12:08 PM CDT Staff Report NewsWest 9 PECOS COUNTY – The Pecos County Sheriff’s Office is investigating after some skeletal remains were found. We’re told the remains were found about 22 miles east of Fort Stockton near Interstate 10, under a bridge and some brush. Officials say a ranch worker found the remains on Wednesday. The remains are said to be a human skull and some bones.
