Unidentified White Male * The victim was discovered on April 4, 1989 in Lorain County, Ohio. * Estimated Date of Death: 1988 to 1989. * State of Remains: Unknown. * Cause of Death: Unknown. Vital Statistics * Estimated age: 29-39 years old. * Approximate Height and Weight: 5'7" to 5'9" and 125-135 lbs. * Distinguishing Characteristics: Brown hair and brown eyes. * Clothing: White shirt with blue stripes, blue jeans, brown/black reversible belt, and cowboy boots * Jewelry: Gold Seiko watch with a leather band and a square face. Necklace with a cross and a circle around the middle with two green stones, two missing. * Dentals: Available. X-rays available. He was recently identified.(File photo) BY KAYLEE REMINGTON, CLEVELAND.COM kremington@cleveland.com LORAIN, Ohio -- Authorities identified a man whose body washed ashore in Lorain in 1989 and now they are asking for the public's help in finding family members. Terrence Patrick Brennan's body was found April 3, 1989 washed ashore in Lake Erie among rocks behind a building on West Erie Avenue north of West 21st Street, according to a news release from Lorain police. He was 36. Investigators could not identify him at the time. Advances in technology allowed the FBI, at the request of the Lorain County Coroner, to identify Brennan, the release says. Authorities have not been able to find family members in the days since Brennan was identified. Brennan is believed to be from a Detroit suburb, the release says. Investigators do not know why he was in the area at the time. He wore a western-style shirt, blue jeans and one cowboy boot, the release says. He also wore a yellow metal cross with a circle, two turquoise stones with another two missing and a Seiko brand watch.
