VICTORIA, British Columbia, Aug. 8 (UPI) -- The search for a Canadian fishing guide and three U.S. tourists Sunday failed to turn up any sign of the men, whose capsized boat was found a day earlier.

Kevin Sturgess of Port Alberni, British Columbia, Peter Idlewine of Brush Prairie, Wash., Gary Evans of Vancouver, Wash., and his brother Tony Evans of Portland, Ore., were last seen Monday at the Qualicum Rivers Fishing Lodge. Their 20-foot sport-fishing boat was found about 8 miles off the west coast of Vancouver Island Saturday with all of its life jackets still on board, authorities said.

"It was found upside down and we righted and towed it into Winter Harbour," Victor Weston with Victoria Joint Rescue Co-ordination Center told the CBC. "We found that all of the life vests were, in fact, still on board and so the search area has been reduced to that general vicinity.

"It tells us that a lot of the people on board weren't wearing them at the time, so it makes it a lot more difficult to swim, and a lot more difficult to stay above water. And considering the conditions at the time of the incident it could make it a lot more difficult for them."

Only after the last tree has been

Only after the last fish has been
caught;
Only after the last river has been
poisoned;
Only then will you realize
that money cannot be eaten.
