Missing since February 17, 1996 from Mexico City, Distrito Federal, Mexico
Classification: Endangered Missing

Age at Time of Disappearance: 23 years old
Height and Weight at Time of Disappearance: 5'4"; 103 lbs.
Distinguishing Characteristics: White female. Dark brown, curly, long hair; dark brown eyes.
Marks, Scars: Birthmark in the nape of the neck and appendectomy scar.
Clothing: White pants; tennis shoes and sweatshirt with red and yellow stripes.

Circumstances of Disappearance
Ruiz was last seen when she was driving to her work in Bosques de las Lomas, from her mother's home in Boulevares, in the metro area of Mexico City on February 17, 1996.
She was driving a grey 1990 VW GOLF Sedan, with licence plate nr. 557-EVM from Mexico, D.F.
