Tabitha Diane Brewer Missing since April 27, 1998 from Shawnee, Johnson County, Kansas Classification: Non Family Abduction Date Of Birth: August 22, 1981 Age at Time of Disappearance: 16 years old Height and Weight at Time of Disappearance: 5'7" (170 cm); 115 lbs (52 kg). Distinguishing Characteristics: White Female. Brown hair; brown eyes. Marks, Scars: She has a scar on her left hand, under her right eye and on her left knee. One of her ears is triple-pierced, while the other ear has a single piercing. Brewer has the initials "TD" on one of her ankles. Her skull and left wrist were previously fractured as the result of a near-fatal car accident that occurred when she was fourteen years old. A wire was inserted into Brewer's jaw after an additional injury. AKA: nickname Tabby Dentals: Available DNA: Available in CODIS Circumstances of Disappearance Brewer and Nicholas Travis were last seen outside of her father's residence in Shawnee, Kansas on April 27, 1998. Her purse was later found in a dumpster at 55th and Paseo Boulevard in Kansas City, Missouri. Brandon B. Howell was charged with two counts of first-degree murder stemming from the deaths of Nicholas Travis and Tabitha Brewer The couple were last seen with Howell leaving Brewer's home on April 27, 1998. Travis' body was found in the back yard of a Kansas City, Missouri, duplex on August 12, 1998. Howell's father owned the duplex and Howell and Travis had both worked there. Brewer's body has never been found. Three witnesses told authorities that Howell had confessed to killing the couple or had discussed a plan to kill them.
