Dorothy Suzanne Carter
Missing since June 3, 1981 from Lawrence, Essex County, Massachusetts.
Classification: Missing

Date Of Birth: February 28, 1952
Age at Time of Disappearance: 29 years old
Height and Weight at Time of Disappearance: 5'2"; 140 lbs.
Distinguishing Characteristics: White female. Blonde hair; blue eyes.
Marks, Scars: She has large scars on her left hip & thigh. Also on her abdomen. She had cancer at age 26 and had a full hysterectomy. She had broken her femur in 1978. Other: Alcoholic

Circumstances of Disappearance
Dorothy was last seen in Lawrence, Massachusetts in 1981. She was going to meet her ex-husband to discuss the living arrangements for their daughter. She never showed up. No police report was ever filed and the only items missing from her apartment were a clock radio and what appeared to be the clothing she was wearing. She was last seen with a man that was believed to be Puerto Rican.
Her Social Security Number has not been used since 1979.
Her maiden name is "Adams". "Sylvester" and "Carter" were other married names she had. Her last name at the time she disappeared was "Carter".
