On 7/20/1981, Samuel Coker, 50, reported his wife, Florence Anne Coker, 32, had left their home in Crystal River, Fl, on 7/18/1981 in their 1978 Bronze Chevrolet Malibu. She left with a few clothes and approximately $1000 in cash. Mr. Coker stated that he had gone out, and when he returned she was gone. Mr. Coker indicated that Mrs. Coker had been rather depressed for the previous few days, and indicated that she had a drinking problem.

Coker was unemployed at the time. The Malibu was later discovered in a parking garage in St. Petersburg, FL, by Mr. Coker. Mrs. Coker has not been seen since.
