Gracia Morton Missing since November 12, 1997 from Birmingham, England, United Kingdom Classification: Endangered Missing -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Vital Statistics Age at Time of Disappearance: 40 years old Distinguishing Characteristics: White female. -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Circumstances of Disappearance Gracia Morton was last seen in Birmingham, England on November 12, 1997. Morton is a talented violinist who came from Argentina to Birmingham for advanced tuition from her brother-in-law. She vanished three weeks before she was due to divorce her husband. Her bank accounts are still untouched. On the day she disappeared Gracia told her solicitor she was going to see her husband. Her car, containing her mobile phone, was left parked outside the husband's house in west London. Michael Morton claimed to police she had asked him to look after the car and their four-year-old daughter. Morton became the prime suspect and was arrested after her family accused him of harming her. The defendant continued to be unhelpful to police as officers scoured Britain for her.
