Circumstances of Disappearance
On the evening of october 24, 1998, Cekin Dokaj left his home in Scutari, Albania to go to Italy. He left from the port of Valona to cross the channel of Otranto, into Italy. The boat he was traveling on collided with another boat, and the friend Cekin was traveling with lost sight of him. Witnesses stated that Ceking was upset, but not hurt in the incident, and refused to go to the hospital.
His family has not heard from him since.
