Seike Sörensen
“You lives in our hearts”
Seike Sörensen: There are ten years after disappearing at that time eleven-year old still no trace. An attendance with their parents.

Of Jürgen Bungert

Hamburg - “if I their former friends in the village see and see, how her gro?? became, how they go to the dance hour, as they make their driving licence, with their car on the way are, how they are pleased and how they laugh, like it with their first friend go out - then I think, how Seike would look today with 21 years. Which would probably have become from it?” And then the tears come. Marlen Sörensen (44) speaks of its daughter, who disappeared before exactly ten years without trace.

Murders? Kidnaps? Nobody wei?? , which happened with at that time eleven-year old from the Dörfchen Drelsdorf in Nordfriesland. “The same questions torment me again and again: Did Seike suffer? What felt it? Was it murdered immediately? Or kidnaps? And then I dream and in the middle at the night awake, vibrated about wine cramps.” Ingo Sörensen (45) does not believe that its daughter still lives. Or, and its voice trembles; as wreck, in a forced manner to the prostitution. That would be the worst.

Ten years uncertainty. Zermürbend for parents, for the Gro?? parents, for brothers and sisters. How did they bear the heavy stroke of fate? Is there still hope? “Seike is all-side present also in our heads”, says the director/conductor of the Mordkommission in Flensburg, Lothar Carstensen (53). It is looked for so long for it, until the case is solved.

5 August 1993 in the 1000-Einwohner-Gemeinde Drelsdorf is a contemplative summer day. The 40 cows of the farmer Sörensen graze on the pasture, in the garden play Seike with its brothers and sisters Nicole (13) and Sven (6). Later rei?? t it term stable the Brennnessel raus, then goes it on the pasture and rides on its horse Lucie. “I can not forget these two scenes”, say today its father. “If I the Brennnessel to grow see, think I of Seike, if I observe the horses, see I Seike on the back of Lucie.”

After the lunch the girl says good-bye. Again there it will visit the granny in the village and is with dinner. The farm is appropriate for ten minutes with the wheel off the village. In the early evening rain clouds draw, a thunderstorm up announce themselves. “Seike wanted home”, remembers Käthe Sörensen (66). “I asked it still: Amn't I to drive you better? But it said only: , Oh which. Tschüs granny! 'and away was it.” It was 17,45 o'clock. Since then she saw nobody more.

“I was in concern because of the weather. Did schlie look? from the window and did call? lich my mother-in-law on”, remembers Marlen Sörensen. “Seike must be long at home. It drove off one three-quarter hour ago, said it. I called friends. Without success. I went raus, ran the way down. From a distance I saw the wheel. It was because of the edge of the small crossing, properly put down. Of Seike no trace. I called, saw over the pastures. Nothing. Panic arose. I ran to the house back. My man called the police. It reacted fast, likewise the fire-brigade, straight the one?? bung made.”

Several-day-long through forests police, Federal Border Police and the inhabitants of the village the environment, look for in pools, channels and barns, evacuate even the enormous liquid manure container of the Sörensens. Everything in vain. No call of a kidnapper. No reference to a morality author. Only a vague observation of village inhabitants: One saw a anthrazitfarbenen Mercedes at the time of Seikes disappearing. The vehicle was never determined. “It did not become Söckchen, no handkerchief, in addition, nothing at all found”, says the nut/mother. The boss of the Mordkommission determines after ten years bitterly: Outer one?? it the bicycle do not have we anything. Not a trace.

For many years Flensburgs police compared again and again different missing and cases of morality with Seikes disappearing to come in hope, a series author on the trace. Thus it examined whether the murderer of the two girls Ulrike Everts (13) and Christina is applicable Nytsch (11) from Lower Saxony, Ronny Rieken (35), possibly also as an author for Seike Sörensen. Unsuccessfully. Rieken, a repeated family father, was condemned to live-long imprisonment.

“In the first years gabs still many calls. Many humans believed, us to help to be able”, report the nut/mother. People, which had dreamed which about Seike, it to have seen wanted, to fortune-tellers, private detectives, in addition, important door. In two cases hope arose. A caller announced after years that Seike lives and was set into a course after Sylt. It called day and time of the arrival. “I have myself the beard abrasiert, so that my daughter recognizes me immediately, and with a criminal investigation department official to Sylt drove”, tell Ingo Sörensen. “We waited all day long. In vain. In the second case a fortune-teller gave a purposeful reference to a person. It was heard, the alibi was examined. Without success.”

The life of the Sörensen changed in the ten years fundamentally. Seikes parents are in the meantime divorced, have new partners. “The separation did not have to do anything with the disappearing of our daughter, appeared before already. I had however hoped that the fate unites us again. Unfortunately”, Marlen Sörensen does not say. To its ex man it holds for friendly contact. Sven, today 16 years old, lives with it, it changes in the autumn to the High School. Sven got over everything well. He was long cared for psychologically one year. Differently Seikes older sister Nicole. One year ago began with it the problems, it today still are in therapy. Nicole lives together with its friend.

And Marlen Sörensen? “The therapy did to me well. I break out no longer directly in tears. Property me well in the grasp.” She works in the kitchen of an old person care enterprise. Farmer Sörensen has a seven-year-old boy and a six-year girl with its new Lebenspartnerin two children. The two ask naturally for Seike. “You never learned it to know, but them are here pervasive in photos and in our narrations. I try as well as possible to answer the questions of the two. It is not easy.” On its yard it has still cows and horses.

With the Gro?? parents in the Dorfstra?? e 36 has Seike still an honour place. On a table in the living room their photo stands, before it lies a rose, besides a small angel and a candle. “You in our hearts” Käthe Sörensen lives, says. “Now on 30 July it has birthday, 21 years would become old. I think each day of it. Fortunately I have ten Enkelkinder and am such a little diverted.”

Who is the author? “You never to strangers voluntarily in the car”, says Marlen Sörensen would have risen. And by force? Much speaks against it. The säuberlich put down wheel for example. “Perhaps it was nevertheless an acquaintance, who carried forward it and against it passed”, puzzles her. “Only, to me none breaks in.”
