Posted on Wed, Oct. 15, 2008 DO YOU KNOW THEM? Whose bodies wind up unidentified in the city morgue? Here are details on three bodies that the Medical Examiner's Office is trying to identify. If you think you have any information, call the M.E.'s office at 215-685-7445. * Found July 14, 2006, in the Delaware River: A Hispanic man between 55 and 65. Investigators believe that he was homeless because he wore layered clothes and carried scissors, forks, key chains and jewelry. He has a tattoo on his right upper arm that says "Mirian, True Love" and shows an arrow-pierced heart. A heart and banner with "Elsie" is tattoed on his right forearm, and two birds and a heart are on his left upper arm. He wore a striped sweatshirt, black dress pants and a pair of women's Nike Air Max sneakers. * Found March 30, 2006, in the basement of the old Divine Lorraine Hotel, in North Philadelphia: A black man in his 40s. He was wearing a University of Maryland cap, work pants and an Eagles jersey. He has a large scar on his abdomen. Investigators think he was a homeless man from Baltimore or Washington. * Found July 13, 2006, at the Richard S. Burns recycling plant on Rising Sun Avenue, in Feltonville: A black woman in her 40s whose body was severely decomposed. She had a large scar down her abdomen, which investigators think was caused by a traumatic injury. A jean skirt, blue belt and black tights were found near her body.
