![]() The Wolves, My love, will come Lux, unlike many of her kind, has white hair, a trait that has been passed down by the females of her family, something that has earned her the nickname “Lightening” on the battlefield along with her maternal trait to “call down lightening to smite her foes.” Being a Drow she finds herself there every once in a while over her long, long life. She has been Empress of the Black Lands for centuries, earning her great respect even amongst her rivals as a fierce ruler and a combative foe. Her favorite weapons two large blades which are attached to long lengths of chain she can throw about quickly and from a distance. Though she can use a sword and spear just as effectively if she so desires. Taking us home where dust was once man Like most Drow she is greedy and vain, but knows how to place the pieces of her puzzle. She doesn’t like to take rash actions unless she knows it will unsettle her opponents. She rarely is known to be kind or compassionate about anything other than her abilities and her people. It is rumored that a scream from a Royal Drow can turn one insane at the first notes; Lux’s own voice fluctuates frequently, reaching peaks and valleys often. Among her people she is called the White One or the Gold One. White for her hair and skin and gold for her eyes and spirit markings. Is there life before death? Living so long through war and peace had taken a toll on the Ancient Empress. She cares not for anybody of her family and has few people who could even, by a stretch, be called friends. She is cold and ruthless, taking what she desires when she desires it, as long as not many lives of her people are lost. She does, amazingly, care for them deeply like any good monarch would. Though she cares for her own, she despises almost all other races, though some she doesn’t pay a shred of attention to, like the Hobbits. She detests the Quartz and Paragon the most, though she is know, on her good days, to allow trading to commence. Her powers are not unlike the Quartz King Gwydion, in the fact that she can touch and warp vales, particularly the Spirit Vale, which she temps the Spirits over to do her bidding and aid her. She is known as Lux the (White) Lightening because her congers up thunderstorms over her land frequently and during battle. Do we long too much. Simply put, Lux does not truly believe in love. She does not put forth effort in emotions that might hinder her in any way shape or form. Not to say she does not enjoy lustfulness, she just feels no need to tie herself to another. Her son was planned, but is now discarded and she feels no longing to have him near her at all. She has been called heartless and her response to that is most likely to not “But I’m the best damn empress of this land you’ve ever seen” and then she usually fries them with lightening. And never let in. Unlike most Monarchs she does not spend much time in her castle. She wanders, mostly, much like any monarch of the drow. She was elected not only for her royal lineage, but also for being the first to successfully cleave the old ruler’s head from his body. Her wanderings lead her into different realms but mostly she steers clear of beings and stays to the forests and mountains. Speaking the ancient language of Valgish or Wolf Tongue, with the wolves of the land, which on many occasions have been her steeds and spies. |
