Tersa [ The Black Jewels Trilogy ] Posts: 30 Group: Members Member #49 Joined: June 22, 2007	Tersa had been at the beach, which had been very nice but then the High Lord had asked her boy to go somewhere and she had gotten bored. The beach was admittedly very exciting but she had tired of building sand castles eventually and decided to go find the inn. Except the inn had, apparently, gotten lost. This was a slight problem, as the faint frown on her face suggested. Mostly because she had been collecting shells on the beach and her arms were full of them. Obviously she needed a place to put them. You couldn't just leave shells lying around in any old place after all. She had also misplaced one of her shoes, but seemed not to have noticed yet. These shells were, after all, her first priority. Maybe she would find someone to show them to.

Canderous Ordo [ Star Wars: Knights of the Old Republic ] Posts: 28 Group: Members Member #42 Joined: February 16, 2007	Canderous chuckled to himself as he walked down the street, fingering Carth's blaster. Oh, Republic. At least there was somebody here who could provide a little entertainment. Re-holstering the weapon, Canderous cracked his knuckles and looked around at all the buildings. Whether he liked it or not, this seemed like it was going to be home for a while. He walked the streets for sometime, familiarizing himself with the layout of the city. He wanted to know this place like the back of his hand, just in case something happened. There were rumors of some troublemakers running loose around Revelry Junction. If that was the case, he wanted, no, needed to be ready for a fight. After a while he would get pretty complacent, and there was only so much sparring with Republic that he could take. Kriff me. He had just turned a corner and found himself face to face with Tersa.

Just the person she had been looking for. She got the feeling he had been getting into trouble without her there to look after him. It was probably to be expected; as far as she was concerned, people made a terrible mess of things when she wasn't around to keep an eye on them. Depositing the armful of shells into his hands, she brushed her fingers free of sand on her skirt, still grinning happily. "Why were you fighting?" She asked, trying hard to sound like she was scolding him. "Boys shouldn't fight. It's rude." She might as well have been talking to an eight year old for the way she spoke, and perhaps in her mind she was.

The crazy mynock wasn't anywhere when he fought Republic. At first he didn't even notice the shells she'd forced upon him, but after a moment he dropped them. He wasn't her keeper, damaged goods or not. He wasn't going to play her games and that was that. He had important things to do. If she wanted to follow him, fine, but he wasn't going to do what he set out to do and that was that. "Rude?" Canderous scoffed. "Fighting isn't rude. It's a true test of greatness."

Tersa [ The Black Jewels Trilogy ] Posts: 30 Group: Members Member #49 Joined: June 22, 2007	The happy, child-like smile vanished from Tersa's face as Canderous dropped the shells, to be replaced by something like shocked confusion. She knelt down to examine them, ignoring his reply completely. Some shells remained intact, others had cracked or even shattered completely. A few had rolled off into the darkness, lost in the shadows. The broken ones seemed to upset her the most and she picked up one, awkwardly trying to fit the pieces back together like it was the most important thing in the world to her. It was a hopeless cause and after a moment she gave up, holding the fragments awkwardly and not really knowing where to go from here. She finally looked up, confused tears in her golden eyes. It didn't make any sense to her why a nice boy like that would want to break the pretty things she had worked so hard to collect and been so excited to show him. "Why would you do that?" She asked, sniffing a little and trying to understand why everything had just gone wrong.
