free licensed software

i found this on another forum by a guy named t0nedef. here is his post:

Ok, the site is covered in ads, but you aren't required to click them or buy anything. They get paid by impressions *views, not just clicks*

Anyway, here's how it works, they have one free *normally pay/shareware* software application on their site per day. As a promotional advertising gimmick, the software venders give away normally paid software totally for free, you never have to register or pay for it, it doesn't expire. The only thing you give up is any technical support that would normally come with the software. That's not such a big deal. The idea is that your friends well see you using it, and want to get a copy for themselves. Course, the free version might not be up anymore, so they will have to pay for it instead. Anyway, it's pretty cool, i got a decent hex editor from their today, so the software isn't crap. Enjoy
